Just the other day I was reading a blog from a blogger that I have recently started to follow. It touched my heart in so many ways. It made me realize how much we take for granted each and every day ((our home, the clothes we wear, the food on the table, our jobs (money), vehicles, and even our family)). Life is so fragile. We never know when something or someone will be taken from us. I pray that I would cherish my moments (with my family and friends) here on earth and not get caught up in earthly possessions - for we cannot take them with us and we are only here for just a short while. If you get caught up in wordly desires you will miss out on what really is important in life.
Matthew 6:19-21 (New International Version)
Treasures in Heaven
19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
I challenge YOU today, wherever you may be, to cherish the moments you have with family (your spouse, your children) & friends. Forget everything else that may be on your mind for just a few minutes. Let someone know that you CARE and LOVE them. For you never know when it may be the last time you see or talk to them.
